Lettering for Bureau Zarya

Task: to create lettering for the creative production bureau “Zarya”.

The team had a sign ready. The inscription was missing. As a reference, they showed me a font for which they had neither a license nor money. So they came to me for lettering. They asked me to make regular elongated letters. As tall as a sign. And as long as two characters.

During the search, I suggested hiding the arc of the rising sun inside the sign. The Dawn Bureau team liked this idea. They left it like that.
