Task: Design a series of furniture

The idea of ​​the project is to make every person surrounded by this furniture feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. Feel like a stranger. Just like Basquiat, all his life he felt like a stranger among society, since he was the only black person among bohemians.

The series is dedicated to Jean-Michel Basquiat. Some of the artist’s works are visualized in the items. The hanger is a picture of the Three Kings. Stool - “Ride Death.” Chest of drawers - “Untitled”.

The materials used are leather and metal. They mean skin and flesh. Elements that are often found in the artist’s works, with his love for anatomy.
